Kathryn Drake

Kathryn Fleeman Drake, 80, of Royston, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019, at the Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.
Mrs. Drake was born in Bowman, Ga., on March 27, 1939, daughter of the late James Gartrell "Nook" Fleeman and the late Zelma Ashworth Fleeman. She was a machine operator having worked at Johnson & Johnson and was a member of the New Bethel Congregational Holiness Church in Royston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bryce Clete Drake.
Survivors include her son, David (Angie) Drake of Royston, Ga.; daughter, Cindy (Stevie) Duncan of Royston; grandchildren: Brandon (Melissa) Duncan, Justin (Hollie) Duncan and Brooke (Kyle) McCollum; step-grandchildren: Timothy (Haley) Bailey, Amber (Blake) Leard and Stephen (Sara) Bailey; great-grandchildren: Peyton McCollum, Emory McCollum, Jace McCollum, Clete Duncan and Luna Duncan; step-great-grandchildren: Chase Bailey, Bryson Bailey, Hannah Bailey and Elijah Bailey; and brother, James Newton Fleeman of Bowman.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel in Royston with the Rev. Reggie Vaughn and Rev. Chris Pritchett officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowman.
